As fans of Esports, we have envisioned virtual stadiums and a 3D viewing experience for a long time! With the Virtex Stadium application launching on PC and VR in 2021, we make that dream a reality allowing Esports fans to view gameplay live, in 3D in the centre of a virtual stadium. Partnering with Esports stakeholders, we are working towards building the virtual home of Esports.

Job Description

We are looking for a Partnerships Director who will lead our partnership development in the Esports industry ranging from publishers to league operators and teams. Thanks to your experience in the industry, you know what the challenges and opportunities for each stakeholder are and how we can best present Virtex Stadium as a product that helps them to engage their fans in new ways but also adds a new revenue stream based on existing assets. An ideal candidate can leverage an existing industry network from the past, as well as easily build new business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new commercial partnership opportunities in the Esports ecosystem including publisher partnerships, tournament and league organisers as well as teams.
• Present and sell the Virtex Stadium opportunity to target partners.
• Negotiate and close commercial (license) contracts with partners.
• Maintain and build out existing partnership relationships.
• Pro-actively develop new commercial opportunities for existing and new partners.
• Create financial models based on market and audience data to forecast and monitor business impact of partnerships for Virtex and its partners.

Pre-Requisites

• 5+ years of experience in business development, management consulting, publishing or commercial rights management (in Esports).
• Experience with commercial licensing in the industry.
• Strong presentation and sales skills incl. creation of sales presentations.
• Experience creating financial/market models.
• Pre-existing industry network to kickstart our partnership pipeline.
